Wentworth Storage

Wentworth Storage Scottsdale, Arizona

Set upon a site with sweeping views in Northern Scottsdale this interior access storage building is nestled into the Desert. Ironwood and mesquite trees with seasonal grasses and a variety of other native plants surround this project.
The building is wrapped in 5 colors of EIFS Stucco with cantilevered steel canopies providing shade and protection from the elements at the entries to the storage areas and the sales office. Sawtooth metal roofs on multiple forms create a unified appearance. The parking lot is cast-in-place concrete as the soil in this area requires greater strength in the paving.
The office is dynamic and well-lit and well-kept with modern finishes and views thru large windows into the air-conditioned truck bays.

This project was generated from a design competition where our team won first place. We got the best from all of our team members and used advanced modeling and presentation software REVIT.
The round building with projected rectilinear forms housed more storage than originally thought possible-through diligent research we located critical information in the storage industry that strengthened our submittal and pushed us past the other applicants. We are very proud of the project and look for its final construction in the coming market swings.

BATL- Orlando

BATL -ORLANDO, Orlando, Florida
Axe Throwing you say, YES. This national concept chain mixes axe throwing, food, beverages, and FUN. This was another location of several that ADG has completed of this modern way of destressing while behaving like marauders of a different age.
Located in an urban setting this is 4,550 SF. Tenant Improvement is located in Orlando, Florida. This Mixed- Use Setting includes luxury apartments above other retail and service tenants.

Kentwood 303-Industrial Park

A 26 Acre site in Glendale Arizona with a total of 272,096 SF split between two Sister tilt-up buildings that share a truck Plaza. The buildings are both 787’ long with one 163’ deep building ‘A’ and 184’ deep building ‘B’. Located less than ¼ of a mile from the AZ 303 Ring Road, this site has excellent access. This highly successful project site has been fully leased and then sold by the developer less than 6 months from its completion.

R&L Carriers Transfer Facility Phoenix, Arizona
This project came as ADG won a key Design Submittal. At 120,000 SF. of area, it services truck traffic from the nearby I-10 freeway. Large over-the-road tractor trailers bringing single-manufacturer goods are received and then sorted either for local or mid-distance metro-type deliveries.
This metal building is cleverly disguised with the main office entry under a large modern archway with EIFS walls and a sloped façade. The rear of the building houses; one side for the over-the-road trucks and on the opposite side the Metro delivery vehicles. This transfer area has cost-saving evaporative cooling and includes PV panels for electrical energy generation. This Project consists of offices, distribution, maintenance, and a fuel station.

Safeway Keirland

Kierland Safeway Scottsdale, Arizona

This project required an upgraded theme to match the heightened context of the Kierland Area-a shopping, hospitality, resort, and dramatic Corporate Architecture- Offices, headquarters, and major residential development.
The Safeway building sets the tone for the entire neighborhood shopping center it resides in. The green metal roof and steel canopy with perforated green sign band make a strong statement and the masonry grounds the buildings very well. The green is nice as the adjacent golf course and green belt plays off of this building.

EOS Fitness at Higley Plaza (including secondary retail areas).

EOS Fitness at Higley Plaza Gilbert, Arizona includes secondary retail areas.
Located in Gilbert, Arizona, a high-growth area on the Southeast side of greater Phoenix Valley, this project had multiple elements; A Health and Fitness Center the 33,500 SF. EOS Fitness Project, two small attached retail strip centers (8,330 SF. And 7,800 SF), and a third Freestanding Shops Building all on a 13.54-acre site. This location at south Higley Road and East Pecos Road is easily accessed by great numbers of people from the five vehicle entries and a network of pedestrian walkways.

The EOS Concept- inexpensive starting and monthly rates without long obligations changed the entire industry. The interior of EOS is unique and offers Swimming with a state-of-the-art Finnish Sauna, Cardio Cinema, kids club, spin class, boxing, basketball, and group exercise all connected by the open gym which includes aerobic exercise bikes, treadmills, etc., and the weight areas consisting of both free weights and machines and finally a functional exercise area with a focus on natural strength development. The project also included a reception area, a membership sales area, and a retail area for health-related sales.

All the buildings are single-story with a Tuscan character-stone entry form and a dark wainscot ground these buildings as well as provide a strong contrast to the EIFS smooth wall finish and the larger contrasting color cornice at the top of the main walls and the entry forms. EOS, the Major for this center that draws foot traffic to all the other businesses is accentuated by the use of thick stone pilasters at each corner grounding this building and generating a strong hierarchy for the center.
