Site and Master Planning

At ADG, we understand that site and master planning is both an art and a science that requires careful analysis. Determining a design which best fits the constraints of the site, as well as, the business plan, creativity, and imagination to meet aspirations for the site image and working environment is critical to the success of the project. Information is gathered to obtain an overall vision for the site, including short and long-range requirements specific to projected growth and expanded or contracted use. a conceptual site plan is then developed, outlining how the site will be utilized over a span of five to thirty or more years.

Architectural Design

At ADG, we take the art of designing the built environment seriously. Our designers creatively apply knowledge and experience to manipulate space, volume, texture, light, shadow, and abstract elements to achieve the most efficient, comfortable and functional buildings for our clients. ADG designers are adept at incorporating landscaping, and street designs to impart both functionality as well as aesthetic character to a project.

Prototype Design

ADG specializes in the detailed evaluation of existing structures to provide insight for future design and construction of similar structures to aid in reducing the effort and expense involved in similar future buildings.

Interiors / Space Planning

ADG will carefully review the benefits of conversions or extensions, and consider how a newly created space could be used and the benefit that this would have on the existing areas of the property to produce the best utilization of the interior space. This cautious review will consider how the existing space could be adapted, or enlarged, to meet the client’s needs and individuals who inhabit the space.

Value Engineering

ADG examines carefully the project components in relation to their respective performance. Alternatives are then generated to enhance functionality and reduce cost. The value engineering techniques ADG applies will offer a plateau for better built environments, and help to scientifically criticize and examine the functionality and performance of different building types, elements and systems in relation to quality versus cost.

Entitlements

Donald Andrews Jr. has extensive entitlement experience and understands that the development process can be an extremely fickle undertaking; oftentimes, requiring a plethora of approvals from a host of different bodies and jurisdictions that possess extremely broad power to deny a project or at least impose expensive conditions on the approvals. Donald has long-standing relationships with many municipalities allowing him the wisdom of their processes and potential project expediting.

Field Observation

ADG Construction Administrators take pride in carefully observing their designed work to avoid any potential negative impacts on the structural or design integrity of the resulting project. ADG will always strive to keep clients well-informed of the progress and quality of work performed, and take a proactive approach to observing any defects and deficiencies in the construction of the project.

Total Project Management

At ADG, our project managers are thoroughly experienced and responsible for implementing the project in accordance with the designed plans that have been developed. We understand that a valuable project manager must react to unforeseen situations, since plans are rarely implemented exactly as conceived earlier in the project. ADG’s project managers will measure the performance of the project team, its members, and the effectiveness of the product they produced, both during and after the project is completed; as well as, take an active role in leading the team, controlling the schedule and budget, setting customer expectations throughout the office, making innovative decisions, and directing all aspects of the project.
